GoToMyPC Remote Support Offering
Yorel leverages the capabilities of the GoToMyPC service to provide remote support. The following procedures describe how to install the GoToMyPC client on your system. GoToMyPC's unique architecture allows us to bypass complicated firewall configuration issues. Once this support incident is complete, you may choose to uninstall the software using the Add/Remove Programs tool in your Control Panel. The installation and uninstallation processes can be performed without reboot. You will choose a PIN that will be required for anyone to directly access your PC. You can keep your PIN private and invite Yorel to provide one-time assistance.
 
Install GoToMyPC Software:
1) From your client PC, open http://www.gotomypc.com in a web browser.
2) Login with username: support@yorel.com and the password provided by Yorel
3) Select the Add Computer button in the middle of the page.
4) Read the next page and select the Click Here link in Step 2.
5) You will receive a security warning dialog. Select Yes to allow the installation of the GoToMyPC software on your PC.
6) The software will be downloaded and the Installation Wizard will begin.
7) Accept the defaults and complete the software installation on the client PC.
8) When prompted for configuration information, use the following values:
      Email Address: support@yorel.com
      Password: <provided by Yorel>
      Nickname: <your company name>
      Access Code: <your choice>
9) The GoToMyPC software is now installed on your system.
 
Request Support from Yorel:
1) Right-click the white and green MY PC icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen.
2) From the menu, select Invite Guest to PC.
3) Enter my email address (or the email address of the person who will be providing you support). You can add an additional message if you wish. (Note: this tool does not require an email client to be configured on your PC, only an active Internet connection)
4) If prompted, enter the following account information:
      Email Address: support@yorel.com
      Account Password: <provided by Yorel>
5) I will soon receive your request and attempt to connect to your PC.
6) When I connect, you will receive a message asking what level of access you would like to grant. Please select 'Full control of keyboard and mouse' and click OK.
7) I will now be able to provide you with remote support.
